We¡¯ve been always told that my family is rich, and this is because we own a big backyard garden. It was created by my granddad who loved nature and gardening was his pastime, but now the gardener is my dad. Every spring, my dad will be busy planting new fruit trees, while my mom with flowers. There are more than seven different fruit trees including apples, apricots, pears, and many more. Since we harvest own fruits and veggies, we usually save our money and rarely buy anything. I really love being surrounded by the nature we created, which makes my day whenever i feel sad or tired.

Hello Sara, this is your new mentor Chelwoon.
The benefits that you've mentioned about gardening are so interesting. I've heard that math is good for dementia. But I didn't know gardening has such benefits. Honestly, one of my dreams is owning my own garden! Because I really really love flowers.
I totally agree with the part that gardening is a perfect way to interact with and relate to others. Because I have actually seen my grandmother do so.
I used to grow flowers of various types. When they withered, I made them dried flowers. I can't say it was 'Gardening', but it also really helped me to reduce stress than others as written in your article.
Thank you for the article!

Chelwoon

Hello Sara, this is your mentor Joon.
I would love to have such trees on my backyard if I get to have one. In Korea, most people live in apartments which could be seen as a chicken coop. We do not have plots to plant such trees, but we only have to be satisfied looking at artificially structured gardens. It is a luxury for us to harvest directly from the tree. I like the way of your lifestyle and I hope I can pursue one of such in my future.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
