Water is a very essential source for a living being. Without water, our life cannot exist. But nowadays water bodies are polluted by human activities and natural disasters like landslides and floods. Which causes adverse effects on a living being. Here are some causes, Effects, and Prevention of water pollution. Causes Agriculture affects water contamination due to the utilization of harmful chemicals such as fungicides, pesticides, herbicides, or bug sprays as well as animal excrement mixed with water bodies. Improper sewage collection is also a source of water pollution. According to the United Nations, more than 80% of the worldwide wastewater goes back into the environment without being treated or reused. Industries are also contributing to water pollution by the production of toxic chemicals and harmful gases. A tremendous amount of Industrial waste is mixed with fresh water and flows into canals, rivers. Regularly, large amounts of rubbish such as paper, aluminum, glass, and elastic are stored in water bodies which takes a long time to break down. Effects Water Pollution has exceptionally harmful effects on human wellbeing. Due to water pollution, human beings are infected by diarrhea, cholera, typhoid, dysentery, or skin infections as they drink and be in contact with polluted water. Chemical toxins in polluted water in contact with our skin from swimming in polluted water and washing clothes can cause skin irritation, extending in seriousness. Prevention Removal of the toxic and harmful substances from wastewater makes the water more productive and cleaner. Prevention of air pollution is also the perfect way to reduce water pollution because water pollution induces rapid acidification of our seas and undermines marine life and corals. Reduction of the utilization of plastics, proper waste management Use an eco-friendly product that is soluble in water. We can decrease the sum of contamination caused by family. We need to conduct public awareness program on Water Pollution and its destructive impacts on the environment and human wellbeing.
The capable organization should make a plan to protect and decrease water pollution. Act now to address this issue. |

Hello Lhamu, this is your mentor Joon.
Water pollution is a sever problem which affects human's life conditions. If adequate water supply, which is not contaminated, is not provided, thousands of people would loose their health. Different waterborne disease are prevalent, even though situations got better than past days, and therefore we should always take care of conditions. Hope different ways to prevent water pollution turns out well so that people around the world no longer worry for water.

The increasing production of toxic chemicals and harmful gases is now inevitable in most companies?? working processes. However, the thing is that they should observe regulations about releasing hazardous substances that cause harm to the environment. If not, it will pose an immediate threat to human health and the water quality. As you have mentioned, we should encourage our organizations to make a proper plan to solve this problem before it is too late.
