Water is essential for life, yet it is becoming increasingly polluted. As a result, we might say that the life (water) is just no longer safe. We are in an era of turmoil. Water contamination is a huge concern for individuals around the globe. It has an impact on drinking water, rivers, lakes, and seas across the planet. As a result, it endangers human life and the natural planet's safety and the well. The current study attempted to examine fundamentally what pollution is but also focused on various main pollutants as well as the repercussions of this contamination on Planet's surface. Water pollution has become a worldwide issue, and a constant examination of water resource policy is required to combat it.
Water contamination kills a lot of people and diseases all throughout the world, and around 14000 deaths occur of it every day. Types of surface water pollution Humans are the primary cause of water pollution, which can have a variety of consequences: Industrial trash: Many businesses continue to fail to handle their waste, dumping massive amounts of toxins from their industrial operations into rivers and the oceans. Many businesses discharge industrial waste into bodies of water before it is treated, such as toxic chemicals. It gradually contaminates the water. The discharge of dangerous material lowers the oxygen levels in the water, causing pollution. Water pollution is defined as the discharge of pollutants into bodies of water that render the water hazardous for human consumption and damage aquatic ecosystems. Water pollution may be caused by a variety of impurities, including hazardous waste, petroleum, and pathogenic microbes. The most efficient strategy to prevent water pollution is likely to be to clean part of the water before reintroducing it into the rivers. This is a very successful approach since wastewater treatment facilities can remove almost all contaminants in wastewater through a chemical, physical, or biological process. The quality of water in streams, lakes, and rivers is determined by the sources that feed them. Unfortunately, when fertilizer, animal and human waste, plastics, and harmful industrial chemicals reach these sources, they pollute the water. It costs the economy by impacting public health, fishing, tourism, and the environment. |

Hello Amit, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
Well written article that shows your understanding of water pollution. From a long-term point of view, environmental infrastructure, like wastewater treatment facilities are essential. But many developing countries do not have enough proper infrastructure that cause them some problems like having a hard time keeping up on protecting the environment. However, at the same time, the rate of industrial development is really high. In this regard, the government needs to find a more feasible solution to address this problem as soon as possible
Thank you for the article!

Hello Amit, this is your mentor Joon.
As you have mentioned, water is essential for our life, however it is becoming increasingly polluted. Humans are the main, actually almost only, source which causes water pollution to this extent. However, as we are also the ones that require water supply, different approaches can be and should be made to make water clear. Purification process are introduced in different countries around the world and it is helping a lot to preserve cleanliness of water to current level. Hope more of them are introduced in less social cost.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
