However, freshwater resources like lakes rivers are deteriorating rapidly due to increasing in contamination and disappearing at an alarming rate due to human interventions. Due to release of harmful and pesticide fertiliser residues, waste and effluent from industries, release of untreated sewage generated in urban areas into water bodies Contamination can be classified as Inorganic contaminants, Organic contaminants, Radiological contaminants, biological contaminants Condition in India Waterborne diseases are rampant in India due to high levels of biological contamination of water due to lack of pipe planning and contaminated water By an estimate by 2012, Delhi's sacred Yamuna river contained 7,500 coliform bacteria per 100cc of water. A number of NGOs, pressure groups, eco-clubs, as well as citizens' movements, have been active in their task to clean the river. Hello ankit, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
As you have mentioned, there are several types of contamination in bodies of water. And they must be removed in every way appropriate to the type of contamination. Sufficient analysis is required to eradicate the problem. It may take a long time. However, there are several things that we, as citizens, can put into action immediately. I hope your article will raise awareness of your country??s water pollution.
Thank you for the article!
Regards,
Chelwoon

Hello ankit, this is your mentor Joon.
The photo does look like it has serious water pollution. It reminds me of the neighborhood in Mozambique, which I have lived before. I saw similar sights there and thought how could such polluted water could be purified back. Apparently, it is simple, but hard in the same time. People should manually clean it up, and not throw away any more trash. Some chemical processing is also required. What's important is people's awareness that they should not dispose wastes on water.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
