Bangladesh is agro-based riverine country. But the status of soil is in unfavourable condition in some areas. Due to the use of huge amount of pesticides in the agriculture land the fertility of soil is decreasing. There are many reasons to consider soil health. Most of the rural lands are directly depended on agriculture. If soil health is not maintained then fertility of soil will damage production of crops, vegetables etc. Toxic compounds, salts, radioactive materials, chemicals etc are polluting the soil. Heavy metals are found in some parts of Bangladesh if this case becomes serious then the food chain will be at risk.Chromium, cadmium and lead are found in few parts of Bangladesh. But after reviewing this issue it is mentioned that industries are the major reason behind it. It won't harm in the future because they are taking it under control. On the other hand, the land of Bangladesh is very beautiful and full of natural beauties. About soil pollution there are very few causes and not all places are polluted. So the soil condition is kind of safe then other pollution.

Hello Sudura, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
The use of large amounts of pesticides is always mentioned as the source of many types of pollution. Although the soil condition of most regions in your country remains safe, the authorities have to continue monitoring and maintaining it. If one finds any consequences of pollution, it means pollution has already started a long time ago. Even if we take measures right after something breaks out, it will take a lot of time and money to restore the soil.
Thank you for the article!

Hello Sudura, this is your mentor Joon.
Soil pollution is becoming a huge problem on different countries. It is kind of lucky that Bangladesh is yet not suffering from it. Looking at cases on different countries, Bangladesh should set up strategies. By doing so, it would reduce the potential suffering. One thing we should focus on is a proper waste management system. If the wastes are not properly processed, then it would directly lead to soil pollution. Hope the authorities have some time to set up the future plans before it is too late.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
