7 Things you can do to stop soil pollution

 

  1. Dispose of hazardous waste responsibly.

The best method is Landfill Disposal, which is collecting the waste and then simply throwing to a dumping site and destroying it eco-friendly.
  1. Avoid single-use plastic

Invest in products that can be reused multiple times in order to avoid purchasing single-use plastic.

  1. Recycle

The best way to avoid any kind of pollution is to recycle. We can recycle over selves or we could give our waste to recycle centers.

  1. Think twice before buying new electronic devices.

E-waste is something that causes a lot of soil pollution. So we should always recycle and reuse electronic devices to reduce e-waste.

  1. Using Eco-friendly and reusable packaging when shopping.

Always use bags that are made out of eco-friendly materials for shopping and other needs.

6.Choose eco-friendly gardening, cleaning and personal care products.

Using multi-purpose products whenever possible, Up cycle waste paper and magazines, Reusing your plastic bottles, Using plants to get rid of pests are some ways to clean eco-friendly.

    Dumping or disposing wastes are huge parts on soil pollution. Most of the pollutants come from the disposed waste and that means, if we could reduce the amount of wastes, we could reduce the severity of soil pollution. To do so, we should implement proper waste management system, and Zero Waste lifestyle including 5R principles: refuse reduce reuse recycle rot. By implementing such to our lives, we may be able to successfully reduce soil pollution.
