Save Parrots!! |

Having a specie that can live more than a 100 years and having the unique capability to mimic the human being is versatile beauty of this universe. Flying in the sky with colors sprinkling around the globe, the beautiful creature Parrots are having the intriguing vibe of catching human interest. But wait!
Do you know that 1 out of 3 parrots are threatened in the wild? It is due to habitat loss, trapping for the pet trade, and other human-generated threats. a versatile creature of Earth is getting diminished due to inhumane activities and Alas! 90% of the community is unaware of it. As per a recent survey, currently, 111 out of 398 species of parrots are endangered according to IUCN Redlist. Nearly 2 million parrots are traded on the world market due to human greed. If this keeps happening, in the future we will no longer be able to see them in the wild. 31st May is celebrated every year to emphasize on the beauty of parrots and create a symphony of kindness to increase initiatives that can promote breeding of parrots, saving parrots from inhumane slavery acts and promote survival of parrots. On the first World Parrot Day, The WPT Community submitted a petition asking the European Union to ban the illegal trade in birds, especially parrots. Since then, starting in 2006, concrete preventive measures are still ongoing up to now. Let's create awareness to boost the parrots breeding and freedom of welfare! Let's create awareness to enhance quality of life, for survival of parrots!

Wow! you can design a card image with the combination of photos! Great! I think Joon mentor said about 4 photos of the parrots, not your design.
Many people have parrots as a pet. However, It is sad to hear that 1 out of 3 parrots are threatened and illegal trade in birds has been prevailed. We can no longer do nothing about this problem. We must protect Innocent animals from human greed. I will remember the World Parrot Day, thank you.

The image is designed by me and as for the events regarding parrots, unfortunately, no one is paying heed to their reducing number. We need to start such events to emphasize on beauty of parrots.

Hello Momina, this is your mentor Joon.
I did not know there was such memorial day as 'World Parrot Day'. Are there any constant events being held on some type of organizations? If there is any, I would like to know more about it! I have seen parrots as a pet raised in households several times, but have not seen any in nature. I just thought it was similar phenomena to dogs and cats which they stay close to humans and therefore cannot be seen in nature, but according to your words, it is not! Thank you for sharing! Also, please cite the source of your image!
