The phrase "biodiversity" refers to the great variety of life on Earth. It may also be used to refer to all of the species in a certain location or habitat. Biodiversity encompasses all forms of life, including plants, microorganisms, animals, and people. Typically, three layers of biodiversity are discussed: genetic diversity, species diversity, and ecological diversity. Most people define biodiversity in terms of species, which are groups of individual living creatures that may interbreed. Blue whales, white-tailed deer, white pine trees, sunflowers, and miniscule microbes that can't even be seen with the human eye are examples of species. Biodiversity creates functional ecosystems that offer oxygen, clean air and water, plant pollination, insect control, wastewater treatment, and many other ecosystem services.

Hello Amit, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
When we search ¡°Biodiversity¡± on google or something, the definition we can first find is about three layers of biodiversity that you mentioned in this article. The three are all important, and what we must save. We cannot live without biodiversity. Unless we ignore the decline in biodiversity, all creatures will have hard time on the earth.
Thank you for the article!
Regards,
Chelwoon

Hello Amit, this is your mentor Joon.
Biodiversity is crucial in sense of preserving the lifecycle of the environment. Once a specie goes extinct, then all the related species would get damage. Eventually, it would lead to chain reaction of extinction leading the overall collapse of the environment. Though humans are arrogant saying, we do not need other species to survive, actually we are not. We are really vulnerable to changes in environment and should step forward to keep the biodiversity!
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
