Tigers are only found in 13 countries around the world. Tiger is a world big cat and can be recognized easily by its orange& black stripes on its face and body. Tigers are top predators at the apex of the food chain and maintain the balance between prey herbivores and the vegetation upon which they feed. Habitat loss, climate change, haunting, and poaching are major causes of the extinction of tigers. Illegal trading and poaching increase due to trading of bone, skin, and other parts of the tiger. The number tiger population was 121 in 2010. Now, the population of tigers in Nepal becomes doubled from 121 to 350 by 2022 as per as target. The conservation strategies implemented has achieved the well established goal of tiger protection. Hello Dolma, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
It is good to hear that the population of tigers in your country becomes doubled! In Korea, the total population of tigers is only 45. Tiger is the animal species which represents Korea, so tigers are quite close to Korean hearts. The Korean government is monitoring their habitat continuously so that we can protect them from extinction. I hope that ambassadors who have learned the importance of biodiversity will support groups trying to resolve this problem.
Thank you for the article!
Regards,
Chelwoon

Hello Dolma, this is your mentor Joon.
Korea used to be the place where tiger was once populated, but cannot be found in recent days due to the massacre made by past governments. We have lost the homeostasis of nature due to the loss of tiger and it has lead to population explosion of water deer and other species and causing harm to the crops. As tigers are umbrella species, people should work ono preserving the population of tigers.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
