Plastic pollution is increasing day by day with the world population growth. Most of the wastes produced will stay within an environment for a long time. Non-biodegradable waste products have brought problems in waste disposal. Non-biodegradable waste products problems can solve for recycling and reuse purposes. If we learn to consider the thing we discard as resources that can be used again, we may be able to find solutions to everyday issues. When building roads, Plastics like polymers can be used as fillers to replace some of the stone materials. The use of plastic to pave road streets is a suitable elective for developing plastic pollution. In Pokhara, Nepal Non-biodegradable waste such as plastic from noodles, biscuits, milk packets, and tobacco was used to pave the road. According to Rajiv Subedi, a civil engineer of Green Road Waste Management ¡°The use of plastic saves Rs200,000 per km of road. This means if we are to pave 200km of road, it will save us Rs20 million,¡± Plastic is cheaply available and plastic roads have a higher load-bearing capacity, are water resistant, and are durable. Rainwater won¡¯t permeate the tar due to the plastic in it. There will be less need for road maintenance as a result of this technology and they are less prone to rutting and require less maintenance since they do not absorb water and are more flexible. Utilizing waste plastics in the construction of roads extends the lifespan of roads. Plastic road paving might be a suitable substitute for the expanding plastic pollution in the city areas |

Hello Lhamu, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
Plastic pollution is one of the modern day??s biggest environmental issues. We are living in an era where one can easily find goods that are made of plastic everywhere. Although I believe that creation of plastic is one of the best discoveries in the world, as you mentioned those, we can never ignore the fact that as a result, our mother nature is suffering the adverse effects caused by it.
Thank you for the article!

Chelwoon

Hello Lhamu, this is your mentor Joon.
I have read some articles regarding what you have introduced to us in the article! I thought it was brilliant idea, if there are no pollutions emitted. As plastics are making us struggle due to its semi-everlasting nature which is not decomposed easily, we might be able to solve the problem by applying it to the place which should not be decomposed. It is a positive approach if no extra micro fine plastics are emitted to nature.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
