The need to dispose of radioactive waste is a global issue that has gained a lot of attention over the years. The most common type of nuclear waste is the spent nuclear fuel, which consists of the uranium or plutonium fuel rods that have been used up for power generation in a power plant. The first step of the management of radioactive waste is to minimize the volume of waste. The most common method for doing this is to take the waste and bury it deep underground. The next step in the management of radioactive waste is to recycle it. This means that you will take the waste and turn it into a different form of materials. The most common material from nuclear waste is used water or sewage. A nuclear power plant is a machine that uses energy to spin an electric generator to produce electricity. A nuclear reactor works like ordinary machines by spinning a motor, which makes the machine go faster and faster. A nuclear reactor is sort of like the heart of a machine. The reactors used in nuclear power plants are made of several different materials. The most important are uranium and rods of plutonium. However, the problem with nuclear power is that it is not sustainable. Nuclear power plants must be decommissioned after the original life of the plant has been exceeded. They can't be used again and they must be taken apart and recycled. A nuclear reactor is like a small bomb. It's a machine that uses electricity to spin a motor, which makes the machine go faster and faster. Nuclear reactors are made of several different materials. The most important are uranium and rods of plutonium. The nuclear power industry is going through a painful transition. As a result, the radioactive waste created during the process of making nuclear reactors will now be used to produce the energy for our daily lives. As an alternative to CO2-producing plants, nuclear energy has been suggested as a clean energy source. A clean energy source need not always be nuclear. Consideration must be given to the consequences nuclear energy has on the environment, especially before the choice is made to construct more nuclear power stations. There is no denying the importance of clean energy sources for the environment. The point of contention is the shape that clean energy should take. Nuclear energy proponents contend that it is a simple and effective energy source. People opposed to nuclear power advocate for combining geothermal, wind, and solar energy. Environmental problems still exist with solar, wind, and geothermal energy, although they are not as serious as they are with nuclear or coal-fired power plants. |

Hello Ankit, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
Nuclear energy has a high value as they can overtake oil as the main fuel. However, many problems regarding nuclear energy still remain. Although we already have a very safe and sensitive nuclear waste-storage system, this does not allow us to feel relieved about it, due to its lethality.
Thank you for the article!

Chelwoon

Hello ankit, this is your mentor Joon.
Disposal of nuclear wastes have always been a controversial issue. Lots of debates, including the ones of Japan, are going on whether it should be allowed or not.
It was a pleasure for me to mentor you on past 6 months. What I feel, and realize now is that I have not been knowledgeable enough to provide more information related to different subjects. Hope you could keep up with environmental activities as well as your other works. Once again, thank you for following me.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
