Extreme weather is any weather that falls outside of normal patterns. This includes high winds, hails, excessive precipitations, blizzards, heatwaves, wildfires, tornadoes, cyclones, floods, thunderstorms, dust storms etc. It is always unexpected severe unusual at the same time. The extreme weather we experience most in my country is flooding, heavy tropical rains during the wet season in Nigeria, often followed by the seasonal flash floods which sometimes lead to death of citizens, especially in the rural areas and over crowded suburbs, due to poor or non-existent drainage. And flooding as not only cause death, but also lead to loss of properties living many people displaced and homeless in my country. Poor drainage and poor waste management further worsen this challenge we are greatly experiencing with troubled mind in Nigeria. Extreme weather condition in Nigeria are forcing locals to pay attention to the climate crisis. Heatwave is another extreme weather that has endangered the health and affected the lives of Nigerians in many parts of the country, this situation is made worse by Nigeria's unreliable power supply, and rising prices for petroleum products, have also handicapped alternative power supply means like generators. The heat is too much during a particular period of time, which makes people sweat 24 hours in a day, and during that everyone prays for rainfall, cause of its effect on human's life and health. This can be linked to higher emission of ghg (greenhouse gases) from social economic activities. The situation of extreme weather however proves the reality of climate change, and countries must do more to counter CO2 emissions.

Hello, this is your mentor Minkyung.
Korea also experienced heavy rainfall and flooding this summer. I can see that this is not just a problem in Korea but a global environmental crisis - as you mentioned. I hope that this issue be publicized and dealt with on a global scale.
