[OCTOBER FREE REPORT] NUCLEAR ENERGY |

When we hear the word nuclear our first instinct is to associate it with something harmful. So when we hear nuclear energy our response might be to say it's harmful to the environment, which truth be told to a certain extent it is, but it is also extremely useful. Some good things about nuclear energy are that it is a renewable source of energy, it can not run out and can be reused. It also has zero carbon emissions, meaning it does not add to global warming by the release of carbon dioxide, unlike fossil fuels. Nuclear energy is also a very reliable source of energy. It doesn't need specific conditions to generate electricity. Some disadvantages of nuclear energy include the impact it has on the environment. The generation of nuclear power creates hazardous nuclear waste which can stay radioactive for thousands of years, killing wildlife that could potentially live there. The cost to run a nuclear power plant while relatively low is extremely expensive to build. Another impact it has is the high amount of water needed by a nuclear power plant. So while we can see the benefits of using nuclear energy we should also consider the negative impacts it has on the environment, and in this day and age when environmental justice is at an all-time high and the state of our Earth is low, we should consider if it's worth putting our Earth at more risk than it needs to be in.

Hello, this is your mentor Minkyung.
Thank you for introducing what nuclear energy is, and how beneficial it can be. I think your report would be much richer in content if you could provide some more specific information, such as statistics or reports, from reliable sources.
Keep up the work :)
