[Free November Report] Rosette Spotted Beauty: The Leopard

by Vivian Nabisere | 30-11-2022 05:49 recommendations 0

Rosette Spotted Beauty: The Leopard

With its glassy pale yellow eyes, rosette spots that grace the expanse of a beautiful fur coat, a wholesome package of great agility and good swimming ability, the leopard is truly distinct in the cat family. Commonly known for their hunting prowess and ability to climb trees and hide preys' carcasses there, this animal is surely fascinating.

It was assumed that there were 27 subspecies before 1996. However, mitochondrial analysis determined that there are eight subspecies of leopard including African leopard, Persian leopard, Indian leopard, Javan leopard, Indochinese leopard, Sri Lankan leopard and the critically endangered Arabian and Amur leopards.

In Africa, we find the subspecies, African elephant (Panthera pardus pardus), commonly in the regions of Western, Eastern, Central and Southern Africa.

Hello, this is your mentor Minkyung.

Thank you for the interesting topic. Your report would have been much richer in content if you gave more information - population, habitats, why some of them are endangered, etc. - in addition to introducing the species.

I'll be looking forward to your next report :)

    Hi, Vivian Nabisere!
    This is your mentor, Yoon.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the leopard. It is very unfortunate that these beautiful species are almost extinct.

Nice job on writing the free report.
I am looking forward to reading your following report!
