Problems occurring from current waste collecting and disposal processes in Middle Eastern countries

Waste has long been a problem in Middle Eastern countries. The population has continued to grow but their waste disposal systems have not kept up with the pace.

Middle Eastern countries have noted an increase in their population over the past few decades. Around 2600 new people are being born every day, but there is little or no change seen in waste collection or disposal methods.

Middle Eastern countries is where the most serious problems present themselves.

Some of the problems that need to be addressed are the lack of recycling and disposal methods, which result in pollution, as well as health issues.

The Middle East is not only one of the most rapidly urbanizing regions in the world, it is also among the fastest-growing regions for urban waste generation.

Currently, waste management practices in the region do not include recycling, and as a result, most of urban waste material becomes mixed with soil and is disposed of in landfills or open dumps.

Some of the main issues with current waste collecting and disposal processes are high rates of pollution, illegal dumping, and the use of harmful chemicals. These processes also do not provide solutions for other environmental problems like the depletion of natural resources.

Overview:

Waste is a huge issue that has been plaguing our planet for decades. And it's an issue that won't go away anytime soon unless we take drastic measures to solve it.

A few decades ago, waste was considered to be a renewable resource and people used to reuse it before disposing of it; however, this practice has declined in recent years and now we only think about disposal when there's too much accumulating or when it starts polluting the environment or gets in our way.

The biggest problem with our current waste collecting and disposal process is that they are not sustainable at all - they cause more problems than they solve (pollution, illegal dumping) while using up natural resources at an alarming rate (

We can't continue to allow our environment to be damaged by the process of waste collection and disposal. Middle Eastern countries need to find a better way to process, collect and dispose their garbage that is both cost effective and environmentally friendly.

Middle Eastern countries should think about how they can mitigate the effects on their environment from the current waste collecting and disposal processes.

Waste can't be ignored because it's detrimental to the environment, both in terms of animal health (from rats, insects etc.) as well as human health (from breathing in toxic fumes).

Hello, this is your mentor Minkyung.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the adverse effects of waste collecting and disposal processes in Middle Eastern countries. Waste disposal is inevitable, especially if urbanization and population growth is happening in the region. However, as you said, we cannot just leave it that way - we need to come up with strategies to deal with the issue.

Great job writing December report :)

    Hi, Seyedmohammadmahan Mir Nasiri!
    This is your mentor, Yoon.

Thank you for introducing the problems due to waste in Middle Eastern countries. The idea of relating waste production and the population is very interesting.
You also did well in explaining why the problem of waste is more severe in middle eastern countries.
Your report could be even better if you provided appropriate images to illustrate the waste problems in these areas.

Great job on writing the thematic report.
I am looking forward to reading your following report!
