Waste recycling, in particular plastic, can be handled not only by large complexes, but also by small enterprises. • The most profitable business is the recycling of plastic bottles, as they are easier to sort and recycle. The use of recycled plastic • Christmas decorations Plastic bottles (especially from oil) make first-class Christmas decorations • Lamp shades The bottoms of plastic bottles can give your lighting fixtures a unique look. •Greenhouses from plastic bottles Plastic packaging is an excellent heat-insulating material. • Plastic armor Japanese Kosuke Tsumura "cuts" plastic outfits from plastic bottles. Durable aesthetic plastic suit will protect your body from impacts. • Fantastic plastic ship • The construction of the yacht took 16,000 two liter plastic bottles, which were filled with dry ice (for hardening). • An interesting use for plastic bottles was found in the city of Roubaix, France. Of these, spherical rooms for rendezvous were built in the park. • fibers for carpets; • synthetic threads; • clothes; • production of polyester fibers; • insulation for sportswear, sleeping bags, • filler for soft toys; • artificial wool; • Polymer concrete • Etc. • Plastic belongs to materials that practically do not decompose over time, and when burned, extremely toxic substances are released that cannot be removed from the body. Therefore, people must constantly look for alternative ways to recycle plastic. Plastic recycling consists of several stages: * collection; * sorting (by color, by quality, clean/dirty waste); * pressing; * proper processing (cutting, washing, drying, production of regranulate); * production of new products. * The use of recycled plastic About a third of recycled plastic is used to make fibers for carpets, synthetic threads, and clothing. Other areas include the production of sheets, films, bandage tape, upholstery for cars. Approximately 70% of all recycled European PET is used for the production of polyester fibers. Large-sized fibers are used as insulation in sportswear, sleeping bags, and as filler for soft toys. Recycled plastic is also used to make smaller diameter fibers. From them, artificial wool is obtained, used for knitted shirts, sweaters and scarves. Such fabrics can contain up to 100% recycled material. For example, it takes an average of 25 recycled PET bottles to make a warm faux wool sweater. Sheet and tape are "classic" recycled plastic products. The sheet is produced to make plastic boxes (for fruits and eggs), which account for approximately 9% of the total use of recycled plastic. Other uses for recycled plastic include packaging for toiletries and consumer goods, bristles and lint, which in turn are used to make household brushes, brooms, brushes (conventional and for road cleaning equipment). As for blocks for making household brushes, brushes, brooms, plastic waste is also used here. This is said to "close the recycling loop" as it allows the packaging to be recycled into new packaging. All recycled packaging remains available for recycling. Bandage tape made of recycled plastic is intended mainly for industrial purposes. It can successfully compete with polypropylene and steel tapes. Fibrous material obtained from recycled plastic can be used as a sorbent at gas station treatment facilities, as a heater or filler.

Hi, Ilona Poplavskaya!
This is your mentor, Yoon.
Thank you for introducing plastic recycling, which is a very important topic regarding waste management. Your report would be even better if you provided appropriate images to illustrate the usage of recycled plastics.
Great job on writing the thematic report.
I am looking forward to reading your following report!
