Was I lucky or what? I joined a contest and one of four chosen by the judges to a special event when Sec. Hillary Clinton visited Manila on November 16, 2011!

THIS WAS MY ENTRY TO THE CONTEST:
Hi! I?m Bam,14 years old. I think, young people should be encouraged to volunteer specially for the environment. I have been a volunteer with the Friends of the Seven Lakes Foundation Youth in Laguna since I was in first grade. We do activities like treeplanting, lakeshore clean-up, conduct eco-camps for younger kids and collect recyclables. Last month I shared what young people do to protect Mother Earth at the UNEP TUNZA International Childrens Conference on the Environment in Bandung,Indonesia. No matter how young we are, every little thing we do can make a big difference for Mother Earth!
