Hydroelectric power plants are typically located near dams or other natural sources of falling water. Geothermal power is a form of power generation that uses the Earth's internal heat to produce electricity. In conclusion, energy generation is the process of producing electricity from various sources. Fossil fuels, nuclear power, and renewable sources are all commonly used for power generation. While fossil fuels and nuclear power have their drawbacks, renewable sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal are gaining popularity as a cleaner, more sustainable alternative.
