Title: [December free report] Importance of National park
Month 4, Report 1

The national parks are places under protection from human intrusion other than for scholarly and research endeavors. It is a form of in-situ wildlife conservation. The preservation of locations in their native habitats is referred to as in-situ conservation.

The greatest of our natural heritage is preserved in national parks, including breathtaking scenery, exceptional species, and trees. They support our economic and social well-being, draw numerous millions of tourists each year, and help preserve nature by protecting home of endangered species. Although the preservation of biodiversity is their main goal, National Parks also provide priceless economic, social, cultural, and health benefits. These natural values should be preserved and conserved for future generations just as we do now. According to IUCN, the definition of a national park/ protected area is ¡°A clearly defined geographical space, recognized, dedicated and managed, through legal or other effective means, to achieve the long-term conservation of nature with associated ecosystem services and cultural values¡±.

It is reported that there are 3044 national parks in total across the globe. Of those, 249 are in Africa, 985 are in Asia, 474 are in Europe, 297 are in Central and North America, 335 are in South America, and 704 are in Oceania, among other places. These values may be subject to changes.

The examples demonstrate the significance of national parks:
-          They guard against human interference with the exploitation of wildlife and their ecosystems.
-          They give animals a place where they can live and breed safely.
-          They guard beautiful natural areas and harbor a number of endemic species.
-          Additionally, they safeguard the areas that are crucial to Indigenous people.
-          The conservation of biodiversity

Summing up, the necessity for place for protecting animal habitat is becoming more and more critical in today's overpopulated globe. National Parks offer precisely that. The National Park seeks to preserve animals and the natural world so that people can enjoy them now and in the future. We must unquestionably keep up their efforts to protect the environment and wildlife.
