Wildlife preservation is the practice of protecting and conserving wildlife and their habitats. It involves a range of activities that aim to prevent the extinction of species and maintain the biodiversity of ecosystems. The importance of wildlife preservation cannot be overstated, as it is crucial for the health of our planet and our own survival. One of the primary reasons why wildlife preservation is necessary is that many species are facing extinction due to human activities such as deforestation, pollution, and climate change. This loss of biodiversity can have devastating effects on ecosystems, as it can lead to imbalances in food webs, increased spread of diseases, and even changes in climate patterns. In addition to the ecological importance of wildlife preservation, there are also ethical and cultural reasons why it is essential. Many species have intrinsic value and are part of our natural heritage, and it is our responsibility to protect them for future generations. Furthermore, wildlife conservation can also have economic benefits, such as through ecotourism, which can create jobs and support local communities. There are several strategies that can be employed to promote wildlife preservation. One of the most important is the creation and management of protected areas, such as national parks and wildlife reserves. These areas provide critical habitat for wildlife and can also serve as a means of educating the public about the importance of conservation. Another key strategy is the regulation of hunting and trade of wildlife, particularly for endangered species. This can be done through international agreements such as the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and through domestic legislation. Finally, it is crucial to address the root causes of wildlife loss, such as habitat destruction and climate change. This requires a concerted effort from governments, businesses, and individuals to reduce our impact on the environment and promote sustainable development. In conclusion, wildlife preservation is vital for the health of our planet and our own well-being. It requires a multifaceted approach that includes the protection of habitats, regulation of hunting and trade, and addressing the root causes of wildlife loss. By working together to conserve wildlife and their habitats, we can ensure that these incredible creatures continue to thrive for generations to come. |

Hello, Kaushal!
This is your mentor, Yewon.
Thank you for your great report about wildlife preservation! You have mentioned some of the reasons why we should preserve wildlife, and also you have suggested several means to protect wildlife! Your report is very well-structured, and I agree with your opinion!
Thank you again for your great work!!
(+By the way, your report seems like having some trouble with the form of this website! I wonder if you have written this report in another program and copied it-!)

Hello Kaushal! This is your mentor James!
Thank you for this wonderful writing.
I appreciate the fact that you emphasized the importance of conserving wildlife around us by suggesting ecological and cultural reasons.
Then you have stated strategic plans to tackle this problem. I can see that you have approached this with a macroscopic viewpoint, so I want to ask if there are any activities that can be done by ourselves as an individual that would help preserve wildlife?
Thanks again for your writing. Looking forward to see more of yours!

Good Morning Kaushal, i hope you are in good form.
i really like the ideas you shared in your article. they are very interesting for wildlife conservation
I want to give some additionnal argument to support your point of view:
first of all, protected area are good because they can ensure that a particular place remain intact and less disturb by anthropic activities. but animal dosn't know about protected areas and boundaries. they are moving from one place to another one in search of food and water. so conservation must be seen in terms of landscape, with protected area and surrounding places.
second, human activities are the first threat for wildlife living. we are poachers, we destroy their home and we create climate change which affect their behaviour. so raising awareness to show importance of protecting wildlife is very important. but we can add information like how our daily activities affect wildlife and how we can do to reduce that negative effect
third, when you work with local people who depend to naturel ressources for livestock, you quickly realize that sometimes that there is indirect reason who push people to become poachers or destroy habitat. you have poverty, increase in population number and development infrastructure for better living. so we must think about how we can combine development with conservation of biodiversity.
this is my little contribution.
congratulations again
Prince!
