March Theme Report [WILDLIFE PRESERVATION]

STEPS TO PRESERVE WILDLIFE
The fight for wildlife preservation can never be complete until actual actions are taken. Some of the viable actions towards wildlife preservation are enumerated from thoughts and history as follows:

Personal Actions: Individuals can also play a role in wildlife preservation by reducing their impact on wildlife populations. Actions such as reducing plastic use, conserving water, and reducing energy consumption can help reduce human activities' impact on wildlife populations and their habitats.

Anti-Poaching Measures: Poaching is a major threat to wildlife populations, and anti-poaching measures such as law enforcement, surveillance, and education can reduce poaching activities.

Creation of Wildlife Rehabilitation and Rescue Centres: Wildlife rehabilitation and rescue centres provide medical care and rehabilitation services for injured or orphaned animals. These centres play a critical role in returning animals to their natural habitats.

International Cooperation: Many wildlife species migrate across international borders, and their preservation requires international cooperation and collaboration. International treaties, agreements, and conventions can help promote cooperation and support conservation efforts across borders.

Community Involvement: Local communities play a crucial role in wildlife preservation by supporting conservation efforts, promoting sustainable development, and reducing activities that threaten wildlife populations. Engaging with communities and involving them in conservation efforts can help build support for conservation efforts and promote behaviour change.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, wildlife preservation is essential to maintain the ecological balance, biodiversity, cultural significance, and economic benefits of wildlife. Steps such as habitat protection, anti-poaching measures, wildlife rehabilitation, sustainable development, and awareness and education are crucial to preserving wildlife and ensuring their survival for future generations.

SUMMARY
Wildlife preservation is the practice of protecting wild animals and their habitats from extinction and degradation. Wildlife preservation is essential because it helps to maintain the biodiversity of ecosystems and supports the health of the world as a whole.

There are several reasons why wildlife preservation is important. One of the most important reasons is that it helps to maintain the ecological balance of ecosystems. Wildlife populations play essential roles in maintaining the health and functioning of ecosystems, and the loss of these populations can lead to cascading effects that affect other species and even entire ecosystems.

Another reason why wildlife preservation is important is that it helps to maintain genetic diversity within species. Genetic diversity is essential for species survival, as it allows for adaptation and evolution to changing environments and conditions.

To create public awareness for wildlife preservation, there are several strategies that can be employed. These include personal actions, anti-poaching measures, creation of wildlife rehabilitation and rescue centres, international cooperation, and community involvements.
Ultimately, wildlife preservation is essential for the health and well-being of the natural world and all living things. By working together to protect and preserve wildlife populations and their habitats, we can create a sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.

Hello, Serah!! This is your mentor Yewon:)

Thank you for your great report! You have written about several topics we should think about regarding wildlife preservation. Especially, I want to emphasize the importance of 'international cooperation'. As environmental issues are not only impacting one country but the whole world, the world should cooperate with each other in order to make a better environment! I hope this TUNZA Eco-Generation could be the good start-point of it:D

Thank you again for your great work. I'm looking forward to reading your next report, too!!

Hello Serah! This is your mentor James.

I can't believe you have listed so many, but also effective methods to preserve wildlife starting from the beginning of this article! Personally, I think the need for international cooperation is urgent since not a lot of nations are taking this wildlife preservation issue into consideration; stable energy supply and renewable energy development is too much of a scene stealer in my opinion.

Thanks for your article! Made me think a lot about the topic. Looking forward for more of your writings!

With these points highlighted here, I believe I can contribute to the conservation and preservation of wildlife.
Nevertheless, wildlife is necessary for balancing the ecological systems and the entire planet as a whole.

    Well done 👏

    Hello Serah
Congratulations on your article. In just a few words, you present us with many solutions to the threats facing wildlife.
With your permission, I would like to add some additional information to complement your point of view.
For personal action, you have forgotten about feeding behaviour. In some rural areas, animal protein is only provided by wildlife. At present, sustainable consumption of wildlife needs to be taught to these people. This will reduce the pressure on target species that are classified as threatened by the IUCN red list.
For anti-poaching measures and community involvement, it is very important that people interested in wildlife conservation find solutions to reduce poverty and promote development in rural areas. Indeed, in this area, fewer people have been educated and they have no source of income without natural resources. The use of natural resources has become unsustainable due to the increasing demand from the cities and the trafficking of animal trophies such as ivory for the elephant, scales for the pangolin, skin for the panther, etc.
    Thanks you again
    Best regards
    Prince Menelik
