[March Theme Report] Wildlife Preservation in Africa

by Ashvik Nandigam | 31-03-2023 20:33 recommendations 0

10 of the Most Endangered Species in Africa | Earth.Org

Wild life preservation in Africa is very important because Africa is home to many species and great deal of them currently are on the IUCN Red Species List meaning they are endangered. We need to protect these species because it is important they don't go extinct due to the fact that it is harmful to us and the environment.

It is important to take action and preserve wildlife because they are necessary to control food ecosystems and habitats. For example, if a predator was extinct, then then the prey population would take over and cause a disruptive ecosystem, leading to the environment in that area collapsing.

In Africa, there are many ecosystems and we can not afford to lose them as it will lead to mass extinction in species and lead to disruption.

Hello again Ashvik! This is your mentor James!
Again, my apologies for the late comment!

It is indeed true that Africa consists of a plethora of valuable species which are currently marked as endangered. Even if they only take up a small part of the food web, their total extinction would surely bring about a serious disruption, thus resulting in the collapse of an entire ecosystem. Therefore, wildlife preservation efforts should be made with the collaboration of a multitude of organizations.

Thanks for the meaningful report! Looking forward to reading your next one!

Hello Ashvik! This is your mentor Yewon!

Thank you for your report! As you mentioned above, Africa is offering habitats to so many species. Therefore we should protect the environment of Africa!

Then, how we can protect wildlife in Africa? I think it's not only limited to countries in Africa but also to the whole world! It would be nice if ambassadors who read this report left comments too!

Thank you for your hard work, and I hope to read a little bit more detailed report next time! Great job!!
