"[April Freee Report] Wind Energy" |

by Meena Pandey | 18-04-2023 19:04 0 |
By using the power of the wind, wind energy is a type of renewable energy that is produced. It entails the use of wind turbines to transform wind energy's kinetic energy into electrical energy, which can then be applied to powering buildings, businesses, and other purposes. In order to catch the greatest wind energy, wind turbines are often erected in windy locations such as hilltops, offshore, or wide plains. In contrast to conventional fossil fuels, wind energy is a clean and sustainable energy source that doesn't release any greenhouse gases or other pollutants into the atmosphere. It is also an affordable energy source, with the price of wind energy having dropped dramatically in recent years as a result of technology developments and economies of scale. Wind power does, however, have significant disadvantages. The intermittent nature of wind, or the fact that it does not always blow steadily, poses one of the largest obstacles to the use of wind energy and may compromise the integrity of the electrical grid. Wind turbines can also occasionally have detrimental effects on animals, such as birds and bats, as well as be visually and acoustically irritating to adjacent residents. Overall, wind energy is a promising and significant renewable energy source that has the potential to lessen our dependency on fossil fuels and help combat the effects of climate change. |

Hello Meena! This is your mentor Yewon.
I apologize for the late comment.
This time, you have written a report about wind energy.
Wind energy is one of the clean alternatives of fossil fuels, and your report is offering lots of information about the advantages and disadvantages of wind energy.
I agree with your opinion that wind energy is a promising and significant renewable energy source, so I think that it is important to keep developing related technologies!
Thank you for your meaningful report! Great job!

Hello Meena! This is your mentor James.
I see that you've went through both the benefits and drawbacks of using wind power as our energy source. I agree that wind power is a clean and sustainable source of energy, but it isn't always eco-friendly, as you've mentioned above. However, I still think that by developing an effective energy storage system and setting up safety nets for birds, we can solve those drawbacks and utilize a greener wind farm than before.
Thanks again for this lovely writing!
