[May Free Report] New forms of Transportation

by Jayden Kim | 01-06-2023 09:46 recommendations 0

Transportation is a huge part of humanity, as it provides us with efficiency and movement 100 times more faster than just walking. However, transportation does produce some negatives. Carbon dioxide and other pollutants. Gasoline powered transportation is a huge part of the total carbon emission in most countries, US being one of them. In recent years, new technology to reduce the carbon emission of cars by using new resources have been created.

The main way is through electric vehicles. Yes, it has been widely known that electric vehicles reduce the amount of carbon produce by a large amount. Companies such as Tesla, Rivien, etc and many other gasoline power car companies are turning to electricity to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide.

The next innovation is the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle powered by hyundai, toyota, and more. These vehicles actually use hydrogen instead to power their vehicles. This is the next rising resource as it is completely renewable to a certain extent and way less carbon producing than the regular gasoline vehicle.

Although these two types of cars are the future of transportation, there have been more development into other types of fuel sources to power cars. Potentially nuclear power, even wind power can even be a way cars can be powered.

Hello again Jayden!! This is your mentor James.

In this article, you've discussed about the significance of the transportation method transition, especially to the electric phase. BEVs and PHEVs obviously have lower carbon footage since their fuel is mainly electricity! Thus, carbon and nitrogen oxide emissions would be significantly lower compared to traditional combustion engines. Also, with less heat loss and higher energy density in batteries, energy efficiency is greatly improved as well. Thus, larger government subsidies would be needed for a swifter transition to a road full of zero-emission vehicles.

Thanks for writing such a meaningful report! Great work.

Hello Jayden! Again, this is your mentor Yewon.

In this report, you have written a report about transportation! Transportation is a very important factor of the urban environment! However, it has quite negative impact on the environment since it emits a lot of CO2.
The suggestions in your report, electric vehicles, and hydrogen fuel vehicles, could be a great alternative! I hope more studies would be done so that we could use more developed technologies related to them!

Thank you for your great report! Great job!
