On 19.11.2011 I spread awareness about bamboo and gave a hundial (for save money) to the public. The reason to do this is because in summer I went to my Grandpa?s house and my uncle?s house.  Though, both the houses are in same town and in same area I felt little bit heat higher in uncle?s house than that of my grandpa?s house.  I thought about the reason.  Then I compare the two houses.  My grandpa?s house has open land surface surrounded it and plants, trees are there.  But in my uncle?s place surrounded land area is cemented.  Cement road, cement buildings without open areas, buildings without trees lead to increase in surrounding temperature.  My grandpa also clarifies my doubt.   So wherever possible we avoid the usage of cement and use bamboos and so reduce green house gases. Moreover as per my wish my grandpa makes a bamboo compound for his house instead of cement compound because, cement is also pollution because it is from industry.  But we cut down the old bamboo and another bamboo takes its place.  Bamboo is a grass.  It is like a banana. If we cut the banana tree a new one takes its place. Just like if we cut bamboo, new ones take its place.  If we didn?t cut it, it becomes waste one after few years.
