THE EXPENDITIONS ON FINDING THE SECOND EARTH.
In the recent years an exoplanet termed second earth has been discovered. The planet is the most earth like ever spotted and has decisive conditions to support life.. It is estimated that the celestial path of the planet is 11/2 times the size of the earth. This planet can be viewed only when they briefly deem the light coming from their host star or when gravity causes the star to wobble in a distinct way. Some scientist have tried to a certain the mass, radius and orbit of this planet. Others describe this planet as a small black shadow and some even try to know the chemical content and also if it is hospitable for life. All these brainstorming work requires a space telescope but has not yet been invented. However there are still anticipation on the lynx, the HabEx and LUVOIR telescopes.
The LUVOIR telescope is said to be really fit to find out life existence on distance Earth-like planets. For this to be achieved, this telescope needs to be twice the size of the hubble space telescope (15meters big and 50 feet in diameter). Also more advance camera like coronagraph are required to detect and confirm rocky planets like ours. A high sensory spectrography is needed to identify the existence of elements like oxygen or methane in the planet’s atmosphere which might suggest the presence of life in the earthlike planets. Some scientist like Stephen Hawlking has theorized that many humans need to colonize a new planet within 100 years in other to keep the species alive. His reason for reallocation into a new planet is because disaster adds up on earth over time. This may take a while maybe centuries before his idea can be bought for a try.
