The Lokta Paper is a Nepalese handmade paper made of the bark of the Lokta plant. Lokta(¡°Daphne Bhoula¡± or ¡°Daphne Papyracea¡±) is an indigenous plant in Nepal. Lokta regenerates naturally Hence, it has no adverse effect on the environment. Lokta paper is recyclable and eco-friendly. It helps in the economic improvement of rural people because the lokta paper industry employs a lot of people. Lokta paper is also exported to the foreign country. They are mainly used in government documents, religious books. Wow, Lokta paper seems like a beautiful raft. It remind me of Korea??s traditional paper ¡°Hanji¡±. These traditional papers and not just a craft, it much eco friendlier than the paper we use bowls.
