According to Wikipedia , green buildings (also known as green construction, sustainable building, or eco-friendly building) refers to saving resources to the maximum extent, including energy saving, land saving, water saving, material saving, etc., during the whole life cycle of the building, protecting the environment and reducing pollution, providing people with healthy, comfortable and efficient use of space, and being in harmony with nature. Buildings that live in harmony; green building technology focuses on low consumption, high efficiency, economy, environmental protection, integration and optimization.
It is important for countires to have green buildings because as of 2020, buildings contributed 33% to the overall worldwide CO2  emissions. This means that about one third of the world CO2 emissions are from non eco-friendly buildings. This calls for a change in the designing, construction, renovation and maintenance of buildings so that they can be a reduction in the CO2 emissions which will cause the environment to be more friendly and habitable.
WAYS TO ENCOURAGE GREEN BUILDING
1. Renewable and recyclable materials should be used so as to reduce the amount of wastes produced.
