Cabinda, a province rich in natural resources located in northern Angola, faces environmental challenges due to oil and gas exploration and ongoing urbanization. In this report we will highlight the current situation of sustainable technology in Cabinda, identifying opportunities and challenges to promote sustainable development in the region. Current situation: Cabinda is witnessing a growing awareness of the importance of sustainable technology. Local initiatives are being launched, including renewable energy pilot projects and waste management programs. Challenges: The lack of adequate infrastructure, such as energy distribution networks and waste management systems, is a significant obstacle. Opportunities and recommendations: Cabinda has great potential for renewable energy, which can contribute to local economic development. Investments in sustainable infrastructure and in education and awareness are essential to the success of sustainable technology in Cabinda. Conclusion: With the support of appropriate policies and investments, Cabinda can move towards a more sustainable and prosperous future for all its inhabitants.
