The Asian Development Bank (ADB), in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Korea Energy Agency (KEA), has worked to organize the 19th Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF) held in Manila from 3–7 June 2024. This annual event served as a platform for individuals across Asia to strategize for an improved transition to clean energy while ensuring energy security and affordability.

ACEF 2024 focused on fostering collaboration among government agencies, private sector entities, financiers, philanthropic organizations, researchers, and NGOs. 10-15 students from International School Manila were chosen as volunteers to participate in ACEF 2024. 

The forum aims to advance towards clean and efficient energy solutions through power generation, transportation, manufacturing, and infrastructure development.  

ACEF aims to achieve climate goals and ensure equitable access to affordable energy across Asia. The participation of International School Manila students underscores the importance of youth engagement in global sustainability efforts.
