"SAY NO TO DRUGS" musical at Dharan, Nepal |

"DRUGS KILL, SAY NO TO DRUGS, SAY YES TO MUSIC" was the theme of the recent musical program "Sanjh 2070" that took place in Dharan, Nepal on the date of 10/11/2013. The Musical program was organized by Dharan.vibes in association with various business partners and Dharan municipality.Youths are the foundation of development, no doubt, but sadly, indulgence of a large percentage of the youths in drug addiction is frequently being matter of huge disappointment for the community and the nation as a whole. Keeping this matter as the central focus, Dharan Vibes organized the musical program where many local and national bands and clubs performed. The highlights of the program were past drug users who have been reestablished in their lives. Their stories were huge source of motivation to the youths. At the end of the program, everyone were chanting Say No to Drugs. The money collected from the program is to be used to help the rehabilitation centers, said Mr. Khem, the coordinator of the program.Photo courtesy: We Dharane |

Great initiative, youth get addicted to drugs when they fail to find healthy sources of joy. Music can be one of the best joy youth can enjoy :-)
