We know that our earth is covered with three fourth of water, but why there is water scarcity? it's because the more amount of water is ocean water and pure water is polluted in many areas. In Chidambaram I have seen many times that in many places they put water pumps deep and deeper, but the don't get pure water instead they get salt water. But to improve the quantity of water, many developments have been taken to increase the level of water such as, rain water harvesting, but this does not work because of less rainfall in these areas. Naturally the soil tends to leave water downwards inside the earth, but plastic wastes block the route of water passages and cause the water to be pollutes or evaporated. It is in the hands of children to save water. "Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean."

Very nice report. I partially agree with you regarding the responsibility of conserving water. I guess children can effective role in making the adults accountable for conserving water, and no doubt every change has to start from individual, children can play crucial role in conserving water by being role models!!
