Clean Up the World Dubai - Green Globe |

Green Globe volunteered in the Clean - UP organized by Dubai Municipality on 29th November, 2013. The sun was shining hot and it was an early weekend morning, but that did not prevent the members of Green Globe in participating in the event. We went to a place near Dubai Land and set off to clean the place. Nearly 23 volunteers of Green Globe participated in the event and cleaned the place. We managed to collect a truckload of trash. Our volunteer's participated enthusiastically. By participating in the event we showed the spirit of sustainable environmentalists. Everyone present learnt the important message of the importance of keeping the environment clean.
We also showed our support for Dubai winning the expo by proudly displaying Expo 2020 banners. The event was really amazing and everyone enjoyed it. |

Green Globe! That is so cool. Getting volunteers to clean up our neighbors. I wish I can coordinate that kind of local community actions. That is so cool. :-)
