Thursday, 28^th November 2013 Rwanda hosted the last monthly conservation forum at Rwanda Development Board (RDB). In the forum two people have presented some issues: Mark Ndikumana presented "Pollen in Honey harvesting research project in India" and Jean Paul Ntungane presented on project of "The Eastern Afromontane Regional Implementation Team" which is in partnership with BirdLife International. The forum has been attended by 23 people and I was among participants.

At the last Thursday of each month, the Rwanda Development Board hosts the National Conservation forum where scientists, researchers, government agencies, Non-government organization comes present what they are working on, what they have found or worked on and what they are wishing to do in future. And numerous people are invited to attend include students from universities in the conservation field. That is, Marc and Jean Paul have presented on this Thursday their topics.

In 2011, Marc Ndikumana a Rwandan was a student in Masters Program Horticulture at Bangalore University in India in the final year where he conducted his Thesis research project on Pollen in Honey harvesting in India. This Thursday was a great opportunity to present the outcomes from the research. All attendees were interested and congrate Marc for his great job and they have asked Marc to duplicate the same project here in Rwanda and Marc has said that the duplication is in process here in Rwanda and that he is in the way of getting funds.

Mr. Jean Paul Ntungane the Officer project of Eastern Afromontane Regional Implementation Team where Rwanda is among their targeted Biodiversity Hotspot countries. He has told as about their project, what they do and he has told us their hotspot sites priorities which are: Key biodiversity Areas (Cyamudongo Forest in Rwanda, Kibira National Park in Burundi and Itombwe Mountane in Democratic Republic of Congo) and Fresh water Key biodiversity Areas (Lake Kivu for Democratic Republic of Congoand Rwanda and Lake Tanganyika for Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania).

The forum was great and it has take 2 hours and 30 minutes, people wished Happy New Year because the next will take place in January 2014.
