Hi all my lovely Tunza friends, The system of education in Indonesia is 6,3,3. It means six years in primary school , three years in secondary school and another three years in high school. From the grade one in primary school till grade twelve in high school students have learn everything and their knowledge are increasing every year. And all the lesson are connect to each other. Of course in grade 12 students have bigger challenges than these other year and they really have to try their best for studying cause grade 12 is the year that they have to pass exam to finish high school. I'am now studying in grade 12 and I'll try so hard on studying to get good result. I hope, easier for me to get scholarships in universities. Wish me a very big luck, pals...:) Btw, In my school, we have a KIR (Scientific Group Youth), KIR is the result of the implementation of a Children's World Conference in Grenoble , France in 1963. Organization whose main activity is research , it was always used as a barometer of the growth of young scientists in Indonesia. Last month we organized an event to selected a new chairperson in our KIR. The event was held at the Cibubur Camping Grounds (Bumi Perkemahan dan Wisata Cibubur), the objective of our program also to involve the youth in ?experiential learning? about environmental. This is especially relevant given the fact that the recent flood disaster in Jakarta was either directly or indirectly caused by the ignorance of people on water and environment. The students played games and learned about environment by observing the ecosystem around the Cibubur Lake. It is hoped that we will learn the importance of trees in the process of soil infiltration and water capture area. Then, together they will be involved in a small discussion on the important role of daily life and its relevance to the issue of critical land, disasters, and its mitigation efforts. |
