London - Indonesian students had a great opportunity to make a network in environmental issue. Last December, the Indonesian Embassy in London held International Scientific Meeting. Many Indonesian students from undergraduate, master program, even doctoral program participated in this meeting. The interesting part of this meeting was, not only Indonesian students who study in Indonesia, but also they who studied abroad. For example, Indonesian students in Paris, Netherlands, London, Japan, Singapore, and others.

The main theme was about ?Sustaining Renewable Energy in Indonesia: Challenges and Opportunities in Multidisciplinary Perspectives?. It had objective to cover the urgent issue of energy crisis, which is faced by many countries right now. Indonesia has to cope with increasing energy demands from its people and the industry. This year?s theme emphasizes at the viability and the adaptability of the existing and future renewable energy sources in Indonesia. There are many ideas and choices, but how many of those are feasible to be implemented in Indonesia? That is what we discussed in this meeting.

  • Economic Sustainability: Environmental Challenges and Economic Growth; Sustainable Business Management and CSR

It was my pleasure to be invited to present my project of Ecopreneurship Empowerment for Multi-benefits Improvements in order to build economic sustainability. There, the committee also provided a poster about our project.
