I attended the inauguration of the the 2012 Water , Energy , Technology and Environment exhibition popularly known as WETEX , held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the Minister of Finance , UAE which got off to a grand start at the sprawling Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre . WETEX 2012 is the largest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East and an important regional resourcing platform for national and international companies to access wide range of latest technology and management solutions.  

As a Regional Ambassador the Middle East for TUNZA Ecogeneration , I thought it very important to share details of this wonderful exhibition with fellow members . I have spread the word in my school and many of my school mates have promised to follow my lead and attend and gain knowledge on water conservation and the technological advances made in this field.

This event also provides avenue for industry leaders to keep abreast of the latest developments in the Gulf region in the field of Water, Energy and Environment, as well to network and tie up with strategic partners to pursue innovative solutions. There is a dedicated separate section which showcases the latest in fossil fuels . Named FOSSIL FUEL @ WETEX 2012, this is the first international exhibition for energy industry professionals, in the field of FOSSIL FUEL sector will be conducted by WETEX, bringing together experts in the industry. The conference will showcase National and International companies and provide them with wide range of latest technological and management solutions.

FOSSIL FUEL @ WETEX 2012 will integrate thousands of commercial and technical industry professionals for exceptional networking, creating new business opportunities, exchange of ideas and to showcase the latest innovations, technologies and developments across the gas value chain from upstream to downstream.

M/s Emirates Environmental Group ( EEG ) , of which I am an active member ,  is UAE?s leading NGO on environmental and sustainable practices and they have a stall at this prestigious conference . I visited the stall and interacted with visitors and stall managers alike . This international event provided me with an enriching insight into the global innovations on energy and environment conservation.

The exhibition will run for three days from 13^th to the 15^th of the month .
