BE A PRODUCER FOR YOUTH CLIMATE REPORT
Youth Climate Report is a crowd-sourced media project, developed by Neko Harbour Entertainment in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
The project showcases the latest climate change research and discoveries made by scientists from around the world, and examines the impact of climate change via contributions from young people.
At the heart of Youth Climate Report is a series of news-style interviews with leading climate change scientists and researchers. Interviews are conducted by our reporters and produced by student broadcast journalists like you.
As segment producers, you?ll help the reporter (one of our youth volunteers), organize the interview (we?ll find and contact the scientist), and handle the technical stuff – such as shooting and editing.
The news segment you produce will be posted to the Youth Climate Report blog and screened for delegates participating at The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (COP17) in Durban, South Africa. The goal of the edited report is to provide delegates attending COP17 with up-to-date information from leading scientists and researchers relating to climate change.
