Biotechnology used in new Charity Initiative

by Arushi Madan | 02-03-2014 21:02 recommendations 0

I would like to share with you very interesting example of integrating biotechnology with a very significant event.

People in UAE may soon be able to show their love for country by purchasing a plant with the phrase " I LOVE UAE" embelished on the leaves. The biotechnology initiative is the innovation  of Humaid bin Rashid Charity Foundation and Creative Zone Marketing Management in Dubai. The core product will be a seed inside a ceramic egg shell that grows into a plant with the message on the leaves. A seed which when watered will grow within a few days into a fully fledged plant carrying the theme "I love UAE" in English. 50% of the revenues of the product which will be sold for Dh 100(USD 27) , will go to the foundation?s humanitarian and charitable programs.

In this initiative , growth of the plant signifies the progress of the 7 emirates(or states of UAE) as it goes through the years as one united country and the amazing outcome of the invention will show the glory brought by this union. Egg has been chosen as the container as it signifies new life and nutrition.

Pl be reminded that UAE is union of 7 emirates.

WoW! this is wonderful. Last year, I purchased similar egg shaped shells from Global Village, They used to grow flowers but this concept is unique.
