Garbage Trouble |
---|
In the first week of February, I and my team members went to a lane next to my school. The road was very narrow and uneven. There was garbage all over. The stray dogs were searching for something to eat out of the garbage. The foul smell was reaching our noses, making us feel uncomfortable. There were very few plants and trees in that lane. Our team chalked out a plan with the local residents to overcome the sanitation troubles. The plan largely comprises of spreading awareness in the common people, particularly the likes of the above mentioned vendor and their customers. The children, as the forerunners of the awareness programs, were given a special orientation session. This drive proved to be successful and opened scopes for further projects and actions. |

Well done. Keep up with your efforts. You may approach local authorities also.
Parents must educate their children not to buy from unhygienic places.

Thanks for sharing your experience and efforts to eliminate the issue. State municipality trash collectors should come regularly to collect trash to maintain the hygeine and beauty of place. You should address your concern through newspaper or should try to contact civic municipalities to sort this out .

You did a good work! Thanks for sharing the report. If the pick van doesn't come and pickup the garbage regularly, we can't blame on garbage problem to the resident only. This problem can only be sold when government and residents work together.
