Earth Day Celebration-2014 |

If you have feeling, love and care for environment no matter where you are! You should definitely find the way to celebrate your love and passion for environment. I did the same on 22nd April-2104 to celebrate Earth Day. Organize, manage and celebrate Earth Day at my workplace with kids of New International School-Kasur. Program was consists of number of activities as described below: Presentation Session Kids were informed about environment and its important components through presentation. 1 hour session of presentation was based on what is earth day? Why do we need to celebrate it? And how can an individual participate to save earth. Kids & their teachers participated well in the presentation session and made promise to save earth.
Green Chart Competition
Chart making competition was also held between the kids. Where some of the kid made charts individually and some of them draw it in groups. Kids where ask to close their eyes and think about the world and environment as well where they want to live and then draw it on the chart what did they say. They were also ask to think how earth is being polluted now days and then draw whatever they think the possible way of pollution is. This activity comes up with very interesting and creative drawing by the kids. At the end kids were evaluated on the basis of the concept they draw on chart and prizes were distributed among themselves.
Earth Day Pledges-2014
Every participant of the program kids, teachers, organizers, mangers & staff from the work place were ask to make a pledge on this earth day. What you would think you can do this year to save earth? How would you participate to save earth and its environment? What massage you want to give your friends, family members and colleagues to save earth. Plantation
All the participant of the earth were requested to a plant a tree and help the earth to keep sustain the environment. Kids were very happy to plant trees and make promise they will also plant trees to their home/backyards and schools as well. They also said that they will ask their friends and family person to plant trees and contribute to save earth.
