Climate change is not the only threat to wildlife. Animals have already had to cope with numerous pressures caused by mankind such as hunting, pollution and loss of habitat, but with the additional pressure of climate change by the year 2050 we could lose one in 10 animals and plant species including a quarter of all mammals. Climate change is causing conditions in their habitat to change so much that they are no longer suitable for them to live there. Conditions can be too dry or wet, food sources in short supply and little fresh water to drink. So they go in search of new territories but finding them is not always easy. there are both natural and physical barriers which can get in the way of where they want to go, such as mountains or building developments. New houses and factories are built on green fields and roads carve up the countryside. Rainforests are destroyed for agriculture, rivers are polluted and the areas where animal can find food, water and shelter get smaller and smaller. This is when their search can bring them into conflict with man.

Thanks for raising this concern , Dharmendra. We must protect environment , wild life and natural resources which would further help in combating climate change .

Protection of animals is preservation of Humans. Sooner we realize this is better.

Rightly said. Maybe later animals be found in circus only.
This problem has been created by humans, we all must pledge to mitigate this ASAP.

i guess this issue can be addressed this year in Environment Day as WE should raise our voice hard and consistently. thank you for sharing.:)
