World Environment Day (WED)became memorable and so meaningful for me |

Dear Tunza Eco Generation friends , members and ambassadors,
Hope you all had a great WED. For me this World Environment Day gave a beautiful gift. I won the 1st Prize in Outstanding Student category in Sharjah Environment Awareness Award (SEAA) . I , my teachers , my friends and parents were extremely happy when my introduction was given before revealing my name as winner of the 1st place. As a winner , I was given a prestiguous crystal trophy with my name embedded and cash prize of AED 10,000 . My activities , efforts towards environment protection , my environmental appreciations /features and achievements were announced while giving me this prize. It was a moment of joy and pride. This day became so memorable for me. Another good news was that our school won 2nd place in Science project category in which we had submitted our "Food Waste Research and Survey" project. I was one of the 10 members in the team working on this project. Our school also got 2nd prize in Inter school Recycling competition. I was interviewed by TV channels , newspapers and Bee'ah cameramen as well after the award ceremony. Thanks to each of you and special thanks to Tunza Eco Generation for grooming me , encouraging me for environment activities and helping me in getting this award. For me , success is not a destination but is a journey towards excellence so I take this award as appreciation of my efforts and motivation for me to continue working towards environment conservation and protection with much more zeal and determination. Also yesterday , I won the EEG's top 10 contributor award of appreciation for contributing substantially big qty of paper , plastic and more importantly 75 Kg of alkaline batteries for safe /environmentally friendly disposal or recycling by Emirates Environmental Group(EEG). Let's live eco friendly life and let's save Mother Earth.
