I am happy to share you that we organized another program in our Budhanilkantha School with theme environment at the school premises. Apart from waste awareness launching program and tree plantation this was my another involvement in environmental awareness, in last two month. This time I was involved in organizing talk program on ?Use of space technology to investigate climate change? and it was a great success.

We were very lucky enough to have two respected guest from ICIMOD ( International Center of Integrated Mountain Development) who were expert in this field. They gave a nice presentation on use of space technology to investigate environmental conditions of our earth. An hour long presentation was able to grab the attention of many high school students as it provided a lot of of information and great snapshots taken from the satellites and high tech cameras.

The program which aim was to provide information on space technology in a plain language and terms was able to provide the audience with information of types of satellites, their uses to analyze environmental conditions and security system based on the satellites. The program also gave brief information on steps taken by ICIMOD to promote and strengthen the Space technology in the world.

There were some eager minds who asked a lot of interesting questions in regards to this topic and the guest presenters  were able to answer their queries and overall every one were satisfied with the presentations and all above we are thankful to the guest without which the program would not have been successful.
