A megadiversity Country |

The planet earth has a unique condition to manifest life in an expression that human history has not known in another planet, within countries that host a lot of biodiversity as like Mexico or Brazil, Costa Rica is a very important place as it houses many specimens of wildlife despite its small territory, where I met a few days ago at a symposium called Simposio Internacional Conservacion Felinos America, in Sarapiqui, where I analyze a different way of conserving nature, which I consider one of the best options that may exist in this text try to let them know about this fantastic vision of development sustainable in megadiversity countries. The vision of sustainable development is evolving as it must adapt to social and environmental schemes of each society, this concept is based on a union of three important points, the economy, society and the environment, however this vision had always preferred the economy point, so in this society the people came to see well the "hunting sport", or the intensive farming of animals for circuses, for selling products like skin, fangs, bile in the case of bears, and other aberrations under the shield of sustainable development, is important to consider that now, with our intelligence that distinguishes us, we are able to take advantage of what nature gives us without making barbarous and cruel acts, with an ethical approach and respect for nature, this new vision includes the ecotourism, where Costa Rica is a world leader, something that surprised me about this place is that is the only place in America that has banned the sport hunting, being a milestone conservation, likewise, have a high social significance in the animal welfare theme, and this is reflected in citizens who truly love nature, caring, as is the case in Tortuguero, a beautiful place where I was with a group of veterinarian and biologist experts have become good allies in conservation, they are Jonatan Job, Sandra Ortiz, Lucero Cow and Diana, where we saw crocodiles, primates, and many wonderful animals, what surprised me most were the people who care animals that they see in the animals a organism with feelings as like us, not see them as something commercial, the people see a crocodile as a beautiful reptile not like a boots, and that's a big change in mentality, in everywhere exist bad persons that seriously affect the environment, but the most important in a society is the moral judgment to see it as something bad the damage to biodiversity, we are at a critical moment to address our serious actions we are doing to the environment we must understand that the damage to the environment we harm ourselves, we must learn to marvel at everything around us and remember as we marveled from a sunset, walking an insect, the flight of a butterfly .. those little actions are the life interesting, and from there, we will learn to respect and generate high social impact actions that are sustainable and environment-friendly as ecotourism. |
