Dear Eco-generation members,
First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who applied for the 2017 Global Eco-Leaders Camp and helped make it a success! As all applicants were so brilliant and passionate about the environmental issues, the evaluation become the toughest ever adding a couple of additional steps to make it fair and correct. Before we announce the Facilitators and Participants of this event, we do want to make it clear that each application was well written and we could see many next winners to be enlisted in the future.
Now, we would like to announce the list of the winners as below in alphabetical order.

And again we thank you for all applicants who submitted outstanding essays about ways to motivate people to save energy. We hope to see many of the names again in the next application and wish you for the best of luck for upcoming other great opportunities in following months.
Trip to Korea will last for 5 days from February 13 - 17, 2016. However there can be a possibility that the 2017 Global Eco-Leaders Camp might be canceled due to inevitable reasons. If the program is canceled, only the certificate and the souvenirs shall be given to the winners by air courier. Please note that a confirmation email including the brief information about the event will be sent to the participants as well as facilitator next week. Please prepare the copy of your passport in the mean time. If the selected applicant does not respond to Eco-generation's confirmation e-mail in 3 business days, the selection will be automatically canceled and the opportunity will be given to the next candidates. Please note that the title of this event will be changed followed by the changes in our detailed program. We wish to develop our program details with our selected facilitators in the more interesting and academic way! Congratulations once again and hope to meet you in February in Seoul, South Korea.

@Akbar, when we shorlist we only judge the essays itself without CV so that we don't judge the applicants by their background such as academic degrees. When the essays are shortlisted, then their CV can help the finalists get a chance to have an interview with us. Unfortunately, you essay was not shortlisted. Because the essays were graded by a professor not by our secretariat to maintain objectivity, we can't help it but to exclude you. We feel sorry about that but this is quite simple. The winner got the high scores with her essay along with other finalists and they had an interview based on their CVs. Please understand that we don't have a right to share their CVs with 3rd parties because it's a personal information and illegal to share.

@Akbar, facilitators and participants(13-16) are judged in the different section so if your concern was that, you don't have to doubt it. Actually, there was fierce competition between the facilitators than participants group. It's really sorry that we cannot invite more facilitators in our camp. Let's hope for the best for the next try. Thank you so much for your concern anyway. We should explain more details about the judging process next time.

@Akbar, this is because of the essay scores but because of the region or country. If you want to complaint about the result please email us on the reason why we think this is unfair based on the correct information, then we can tell you the scores based on your request.
