Tunza Eco-generation Theme for 2016 Scale up through Networking and Alliance-building Be the living evidence of change! Ally with like minded people! Change the world with your scaled up voice! We are here as same children of the Mother Nature with loving and caring mind. We are standing on the common ground, which is the Earth. Through numerable tries including both successful case and lessons learned, we found the truth which can induce real impact to the world. It is that the change comes incremental way from our accumulated action and the innovative solution stems from ideas developed through network. In this regard, we have set our theme of the year 2016 as 'Scale up through Networking and Alliance-building'. Step 1. It all starts from you  All changes starts from everyday decision of individual. We decided to protect the environment and to become a youth leader with impact. Leader without follower doesn't make sense at all. All passionate followers say that the leader's daily ACTION led them to join their environmental advocacy campaigns. Thus, your daily action is the strongest INVITATION LETTER to everyone. Be the living evidence of your own slogan! Step 2. Gain Idea from Network & Find Alliance  We asked many successful leaders in Tunza Eco-generation platform about what made them decide to do environmental advocacy works. Many answered that they got inspired prior Eco-generation members' work reported on the Ambassador and World report page. Get inspired from other youth leaders through network platforms and learn diverse ways of doing the same or better thing by learning from their activity reports. You can also find like minded people to work with on the network and create your own environmental advocacy movement. You can share your current work, invite colleagues, gain ideas or even merge multiple works into bigger ONE. It can happen in both inner and inter borders of countries. Step 3. Scale up & Make Your Action to be Seen and Heard Loudly  By joining strong network of like minded people, you can go much further than you've ever imagined. We witness every day that an individual grows into strong youth leader who changes hundreds and thousands people's mind and future. One environmental education session now engages dozens of local schools and we see our Eco-generation members are featured by media or awarded from prestigious institution. Don't draw your limitation just here. Dream big dreams which can take you everywhere you want.  Remember, all changes stemmed from action by an individual. It can be you, it can be followers inspired by you, and it can be our future generation with a touch of you. We will hold all campaigns and events to prove the power of alignment and network. Please remember the theme 'Ally & Scale up through Network' all around the year and Share, Prove and Do it! |

Without Allies we would not be able to get the combined support to be where we are.
Alliances with the United Nations, with other organizations like WWF, ClimateAction, Greenpeace and most importantly local grassroot organizations working in each city is what helps us combat this global phenomenon together.
This is a relationship needed to be cherished and I'm glad its been chosen as the theme this year.

Networking with other organizations that do conserve the environment will help Eco-generation expand its mandate , I also think that the law in my country should scale up and demand of all factories and companies to have initiatives in conserving the environment , with a polluted and poisoned environment there will be trouble for the society within which the same factories and companies operate.

This theme is very crucial as networking is key to making meaningful impact today. Its true, it begins with an individual and the message is spread across borders. The more we work towards making our environment safer, the better a tomorrow for us. We must not wait for tomorrow's generation to work for us, we must begin today so that tomorrow's generation can benefit and build upon it.

The annual theme is very amazing. Not to mention it is extremely relevant. This theme makes us realize the importance of collaboration between the youth of different countries in order to protect and conserve the environment. All these activities will build a new generation of young leaders who will without a doubt change the world. And I am really glad I got to be a part of this prestigious platform.

Awesome! This is a masterpiece of a theme that can only come from the ever-impressive TUNZA Eco-Generation team. It is very inspiring and has really refueled my zeal. We have to be the change we want to see and this year, I will not just be suggesting solutions or being part of a small solution, I am working towards being a big solution to our environmental challenges across Africa majorly through renewable energy. I find inspiration every time I read fellow ambassadors reports and together, we shall continue to grow stronger. Ally, Network and Scale -Up your actions. This, I believe is the strongest strategy to save mother earth. They say, little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. I love this theme. It is a well thought one. Let's all keep the theme in mind as we go through this year. There is power in unity. If we are united in purpose and actions, we can make the world better. Remember that the only limitation to what you can achieve in this life is you, so stop limiting yourself and start living your dreams. The change you want to see in the world begins with you. Theme ''Scale up through Networking and Alliance-building' sounds good. It always change that starts from single person and gains help from like minded people. We are always here or our success depends on networking of youth. We can achieve landmark in our movement with support of like minded youths.
It makes us more happy when we can encourage youth like us in this movement of making Earth a better place to live in.

The theme sums my idea for networking. They say the strenght of a broom is in its number. Likewise, when youths find a common ground like TEG to share ideas, what will follow is more effective and eco-sustainable ways of doing things and this will definitely translate to higher efficiency.
I encourage everyone on this platform to read and share a post (at least) every day. You will never regret it. I always do.

I truly believe the theme will be a very effective one. Networking and alliance-building are strong words primarily because it suggests the combined power and efforts of a multitude of people and entities across not only our well-knit regional community but our world as a whole. Ultimately, these two strong words form the nucleus of the purpose of Tunza Eco-generation according to what I have inferred over the years. Even my student-led environmental group We Care's formation was inspired by this very platform. As the Ambassador to the wonderful platform, I realized that if we can network our ideas for environmental events and awareness methods, we can definitely network with youth regionally as well. Tunza Eco-gen in this way has reinforced this idea and it is thanks the global platform, the words 'Think Global, Act Local' ring true:) Eco-Cheers to a great theme of the year eco-warriors!!! :D

Very well said that it all starts from us as an individual. No action is small. Our small actions may be small at individual level but if adopted by many , these have big collective impact on planet.
Through this amazing and the best environmental networking platform , I have actually learnt the true meaning of 'NETWORKING'. I have made friends across the globe , have learnt so much from them and would continue to learn and inspire from them. We have exchanged our best practices , our successful campaigns , our success stories through this platform and given ideas to each other contributing to our development and growth as young environmentalists.
Yes , the last step -Scale up and make your action be seen and heard loudly-carries so much meaning. We should start from small and keep growing . Keep increasing the intensity and momentum of our actions and advocacy so that it is seen and heard globally at large level. This is the way to get our (youth) voices heard and contribute to decision making at global level.
Pictures speak volumes alongwith this notice of the theme. Thanks again TEG and all my fellow friends for being a great part of my strong network built through TEG.

I am more than happy to know the theme for 2016 'Scale up via networking and alliance building'. Tunza Eco- generation itself is the living evidence for the strength of networking so, it was the theme even I recommended.
Being involved in Tunza family, I have developed a global network of inspiring youths who motivate me in all the way. Networking is a two way medium, developing you along with the other person involved in that network.
Much happy to see the pictures complying the theme. Evergreen love to this global family :)

I couldn't help my self commenting again hehe. So motivating. Reading this post made me recall my early days into social service and how i started. True that I joined eco generation by seeing my seniors in action. i feel blessed to have them and organise event with them. Yes, I amm taking about Smriti dd, Ishowara dd, Bindu dd( so many sisters i got to knoW :D ) , our Bikal Ghimire brothers. Arushi, Manav, Sahara, Rohan, Raunak, Luiz, Udeh and so many awesome youths from all around world. And yes, there are lots of people around my community who are actively involved in this sector and due to different reasons perhaps many of them have not been in tunza ^_^ Great Days Adhead:D

Amazing collection of picture. exactly its through international and national networking i have been able to made and befriend so many amazing people in my life. their news feed on my facebook page, reports in tunza eco generation websites are all but a bliss to read and constant source of motivation. loved it dear eco generation.
