RIO+20 : United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development How Young People Can Spread the Message of Rio+20 35 Tunza Eco-generation message from 10 Countires.

Dear Sir or Madam,

It is our great pleasure to write this letter in support of Tunza Eco-generation members' voices on Rio+20.

Tunza Eco-generation is a dynamic social networking platform offering a range of possibilities for engaging children, their chaperones, youth and sports organizations in order to advance their awareness, role and commitment in environmental conservation and protection.

Since Tunza Eco-generation strongly supports the !--object--ive of Rio+20, even though all the young people around the world cannot participate in the Rio+20 conference, we think we can speark out our messages supporting Rio+20 and have gathered young people's ideas on 'How Young People Can Spread the Message of Rio+20'. Young people from 10 countries including Kenya, South Korea, UAE, India, Indonesia, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Philippines, Zambia and Nepa have joined to deliver our ideas to spread the message of Rio+20. It would be very much appreciated if UN would listen to our young voices in Rio+20. If there is any further actions to be taken with our voices in Rio+20, it would be our best pleasure to take actions to be followed.

Among 36 ideas from 10 countries, we've selected 9 representative ideas

Whenever you need to mobilize young people to stand up for the environment, please remember Tunza Eco-generation(https://tunza.eco-generation.org)  which has more than 2,800 members from 57 countries .

Regarding the Tunza Eco-generation, UNEP and Samsung Engineering launched this social networking platform last year to be an interactive and vibrant site presenting various possibilities to engage youth, children and sport organizations from various portals (webpage's with dynamic functions where children and youth are able to upload/update their environmental activities which will then go live online after it has been cleared by an administrator of the platform, possibility of working on documents and editing of the same can take place online various tutorials between experts and young people voting functions/processes on various competitions, databases for various children, youth and sport processes).

We would like to enhance and facilitate information exchange, communication and resource sharing through Internet, e-learning, videos and other new technologies offered by the platform.

Our !--object--ives are

1. To raise awareness and commitment toward the conservation of the environment from the Tunza members To facilitate the exchange of information including best practices between members both nationally and internationally
2. To decrease the proximity between UN experts and members on the platform
3. To create a platform and a database to showcase best sustainability practices in mass (sport) events.

Best regards,

Tunza Eco-generation team
