Have you ever thought your selfies could help to promote Biodiversity? You heard us right. Selfie to promote biodiversity.

So here we are with KEEDAfie contest.

KEEDA means insects in Nepali/Hindi and selfie means the self portrait photography. Hence KEEDAfie means Selfie with insects.

Participate with photos of your selfie with insects and win Fabulous Prizes!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Step 1) Mail us photos of your selfie with insects on btraps.keedafie@gmail.com or facebook page "KEEDAfie - selfie with insects" with the following:
a. Your original name and address
b. Captions with maximum 140 character limit 
c. Common English Name (Compulsory) and Scientific name(optional) of the insect(s).
d. Unique feature(s) of the Keeda(s) [Insect(s)]
e. Location, date and time when the photo was taken the photo you?ve sent
f. A hyperlink to your personal FB profile (copy-paste URL from the address bar of your browser)
g. Make sure the subject of the mail is "KEEDAfie Challenge-2015"

Step 2) The photos will be uploaded on the Facebook page KEEDAfie - Selfie with insects. 

Step 3) To be eligible to win, each participant must like the Facebook page of "KEEDAfie - selfie with insects" (links above)

Step 4) Once we upload the photo on the page of KEEDAfie - selfie with insects the participant can then share the photo and campaign to get likes and comments for it. Please note that only the likes and comments recorded on the photo (in the album) uploaded on the "KEEDAfie - Selfie with insects" page will be counted.

** Winner of the week (Photo with maximum likes and so on) will be published as Cover Photo of the FB page "KEEDAfie - Selfie with insects".

** Final Winners of the challenge (Photo with maximum likes and so on) will be announced on 22nd May (International Day for Biological Diversity)

Terms & Conditions:
1. By sending the photo(s) as mentioned above, the sender affirms that the photo entered by them in this contest is clicked/owned by them, and that they agree to all the terms & conditions of the challenge.
2. The contest is open to all the people around the world.
3. Multiple entries are allowed but with different insects.
4. Photos taken from any devices can be used.
5. The size of the photo must not cross 2 MB.
6. Insect(s) and the face of the person should be visible.
7. Insect(s) should be alive.
8. Light modifications are allowed.
9. The decision of the juries will be final.
10.The photos uploaded with the watermark shall be the property of the BTRAPS and can be used for their promotional campaign without original owners consent
