Opportunity alert!! On the special occasion of “World Clean up Day 2021”, Centre for Ecological Studies, Nepal have come up with an online video competition with the theme, “Organic manure preparation: A way to Convert trash into treasure”, supported and sponsored by Korea SHE Foundation under the Global Seed Grant 2021. Since World Cleanup Day is more than just sweeping up trash but also solving the issues that contribute to it. So all the beneficiaries from various environmental backgrounds, Agriculture,Forestry, vetnary and environment conservation enthusiasts are cordially invited to take part in this online Video competition. Competition Guidelines: 1. One can participate as a individual or as a group. 2. Participants have to show case their talent by preparing organic manure from the locally available materials, waste (Kitchen waste) that involve demonstration of their practical skills. 3. Participants can use both English as well as Nepali Language as per their comfort. 4. Video length should be not exceed more than 5 min and should be clear enough. Evaluation criteria: (Total -100 marks) 1. Framing of content: 35 2. Materials used( locally available) while preparing organic manure- 25 3. Presentation skills( with clarity of speech) - 20 4. Social media outreach (sharing and like counts)-10 5. Editing skills -10 Evaluation will be done by conservationist experts.
